Horse Drawn Carriage Event
The XIX Horse Drawn Carriage Event is a big in the city's calendar!
It is the largest Driving Carriage festival in the pampas of Argentina and in South America!
On Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October 2025 over thirty driving carriages will gather in San Antonio de Areco,
Buenos Aires to show their driving skills, their sumptuous horses and carriages in obstacle trials, parades
and competitions!
There is also a Pescante-Pic display where all the contestants must enhance their creativity and resources to
recreate Picnic tables on the grass, the way it used to be in those times.
It s an amazing event to attend!
Mostly a celebration of beauty, elegance, history and pride!

Friday 4th
18.00 hs: Talk about restoration and recovery of horse carriages,by Carlos de Cabo (National University of San Antonio de Areco, UNSAdA)
Note: The talk is held in Spanish
Saturday 5th
09.30 hs: Opening Ceremony10.00 hs: Presentation contest
13.00 hs: Pescante Pic (Picnic contest)
14.30 hs: Obstacle Trial
20.00 hs: Folk Dance Ball to open the Tradition's month!
Sunday 6th

dazzle the audience with their bravery, resources and glamour!

And to top it all enjoy a magnificent hundred horse performance (in Spanish “entrevero de
tropillas”) a stunning show only in Argentina!
